Lawrence Rugg
Lawrence (Larry) founded Lawrence Rugg Architecture in 2009 with the goal of providing a diversified practice that seamlessly integrates outstanding architectural design with excellent customer service. Having worked for large architectural firms for many years, Larry wanted to combine his considerable experience leading projects of all sizes with his creative ability, social skills, and attention to detail. Leading a small practice allows him to personally oversee the firm’s projects and develop meaningful personal connections with clients, contractors, real estate brokers, and other project partners.
Larry enjoys working on a balanced mix of residential and commercial projects, favoring neither one over the other, but focusing equally on both. Drawing on his knowledge of large commercial projects allows him to design and manage commercial projects of all sizes with skill; and implementing robust three-dimensional computer drawing software on all projects gives the firm the ability to produce a high-end commercial product at a competitive cost for the firm’s customers. At the same time, he has designed over 60 residential projects and derives personal satisfaction from the intimate and personal nature of them; and the same computer software allows for three-dimensional visualization abilities that are offered by few of his residential competitors.
