Introduction
In their move from San Francisco, Balance wanted a work environment that reflects their progressive attitude toward their clients and staff as well as their new branding efforts. The result is a plan that provides open work areas gathered in “rooms” that are separated by hard-walled areas, including private offices, conference rooms, a lunchroom, and a large training room. These functions, along with kitchenettes that are located strategically in the plan, are placed to provide appropriate functional adjacencies and a variety of spatial experiences and views while promoting personal interaction and collaboration. A detailed three-dimensional model has been created to study and communicate the design of this project, which is currently in progress.
