Introduction
This design study for an extensive building remodel demonstrates Lawrence Rugg Architecture’s ability to conceptualize building exterior façade design and site improvements through the creation of a computer model and photo-realistic renderings. Taking a currently unoccupied two-story office and manufacturing building, the design includes a new two-story glass façade that has been placed in front of the current exterior to create a contemporary identity and inviting entry for the building. Additionally, new skylights at the roof and floor openings at the second floor bring natural light into the interior spaces of the large floor plates.
